Description

An obstruction in a fluid flow creates vortices in a downstream flow. Every obstruction has a critical fluid flow speed at which vortex shedding occurs. Vortex shedding is the instance where alternating low pressure zones are generated in the downstream. These alternating low pressure zones cause the obstruction to move towards the low pressure zone. With sensors gauging the vortices the strength of the flow can be measured.

such as above, the flow range of liquid is calculated according to the water density which the teperature is 25 degree and pressure is normal, if the density is different with water, then need to calculate again.

The advanced version of SDVFM Series Vortex Flow Meter have teperature & pressure compensationfeature. Sensors which sense fluid varying temperature & pressure & process these values & display the flow within accuracy limit therefore, change in temperature & pressure of fluid does not affect performance of Vortex Flowmeter.
